It would be in Edison's best interest if Dr. Browder would resign so that the faculty and Dr. Walker can revisit the past six months of unrest. Dr. Browder's famous quote to all Lee County employees has always been, "We have to do more with less." Maybe Dr. Browder should take his own advice and take less money. The truth is that Dr. Browder is drowning in an intellectual academic arena. Professors are not of the same mind set as teachers. He has lost the confidence of the faculty. In fact, he may have never had any support from the faculty. He has certainly lost the respect of the public. Has he no ethical compass or sense of integrity?
